A Teenager Who Tested Positive For COVID-19 Virus In Los Angeles County, Has Become The First Known Juvenile In The United States To Die Of New Coronavirus.
“Tragically, One Of The People Who Died Was A Person Under The Age Of 18, A Devastating Reminder That COVID-19 Infects People Of All Ages,” Said Barbara Ferrer, County Public Health Director.
He Is One Of The Three Deaths Reported In The County, The Other Two Patients Who Died Were Between 50 And 70 Years Old, According To The Department.
US Has Now 53,794 Confirmed Coronavirus Cases And 705 Deaths.
